Did members of your family arrive in the United States from Mexico? Browse through records from the customs house at Eagle Pass, located in southern Texas along the border with Mexico. The records pertain to two series from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA): M2040 and M1755. From these records you can learn names, birth places, and ages of those entering the United States. Although the majority of those represented in this collection are Mexican, there are other ethnicities included, such as Japanese, Syrian, and European.
