The image of the register will include additional details. You may learn the following about your ancestor’s appearance from the images: height, complexion, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, and chin. You may also learn information about particular marks on your ancestor’s body. Additionally, the registers may note religion, marital status, and previous history of the prisoner.
You can browse the register images by using the arrows on either side of the image viewer. Public Record Office Victoria holds the original registers in series VPRS 519.
