T'HE Gaiety Theatre. Birmingham, formerly a music hall, but in recent years a cinema, is to be demolished and a modern picture house erected there. The brothers Benjamin and Harry Kennedy acquired the place in 1912, and when it lost its liquor licence after the war it was sold.
